Royal Fathers Congratulate King Chu Over His New Appointment

Nigerian Royal Fathers has congratulated king Appolus Chu for accepting the appointment as the Chairman, National Coordinating Committee of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria.

The appointment which was announced by the Chairman, governing council of the National Development Council of Traditional Rulers, the Ovie of Uvwie kingdom, HRM, Emmanuel Sideso during the governing council meeting held yesterday in Abuja, was attended by many traditional rulers amongst which include; Emir of Kurbo, HRH Alhaji Umar Atiku; Amaeke Abiriba of Abia State, HRM, Kalu Kalu Ogbu; the Egbere Emere Okori and Oneh Eh Nchia X of Eleme Kingdom, HRH Appolus Chu; the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Emmanuel Sideso; the state chairman, Akwa Ibom traditional Council and Oku Ibom Ibibio, His Eminence Nlenyin Solomon, and others.

According to the chairman of the council, king Chu's appointment was borne out of his exceptional and formidable contributions, selflessness, commitment, remarkable and distinctive efforts as regards nation building, adjoining his immense experiences to the development of the traditional ruler’s council.


The royal fathers present at the meeting expressed satisfaction by the council’s decision and congratulated king Appolus chu and the entire traditional institution of Nigeria.
